I know how easy it is to feel stuck in life, especially when you’re burdened with debt. As a young man starting a civilian career in logistics with the Air Force, I found myself consumed by an addiction to roulette and was burning through every dollar I made. Fifteen years later, I know that recovery is actually possible and can open up an entire new world of opportunity and fulfillment. I’m an Accredited Financial Counselor®, and spent years as a financial educator in the Baltimore area teaching financial literacy, budgeting, goal-setting, and credit. I have a 15-year civilian career at the Department of Defense, 10 of those years with the Naval Air Systems Command working in career development. I’m also a Certified Conflict Mediator, mediating discrimination cases and workplace disputes. I hold an MS in Business Administration and Management from Central Michigan University, and I am a lifelong jazz drummer.
